For 10 years, Bobbito Garcia’s @fc21allworld 1v5 has brought raw, beautiful basketball to the heart of North Philly at the Hank Gathers Recreation Center. But this is more than a tournament--it’s a community, a global movement, and a legacy.

A DECADE WITH HANK features Jimmy “Black” Richardson, a Hank Gathers Rec mentor for generations of youth spanning 30+ years, two former champions in Cees Harris and Darrel “Lil Heat” Gates, plus fan favorite DeeJay The Singer.

This is a love letter to Philly, to basketball, and to the power of how a tournament can bring people from different backgrounds and parts of the world together in an inclusive manner, year after year.

FC21 Philly returns to Hank Gathers RC this Thursday, June 19 at 4pm to celebrate Juneteenth with b-ball action, food, entertainment, and so much more. The event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
